Of all of the characters in anime I would have to say that Abel Yuusha is my favorite. I remember watching and recording Dragon Warrior, pausing certain action scenes, and trying to draw Abel, Daisy, and even MokoMoko (tell me if I am not the only person that has done this). LOL

I was very upset to the reason why they only brought 13 episodes to the states, But thanks to the internet, I was able to see most of the series. Oh IF I COULD ONLY GET MY HANDS ON THE ENTIRE SERIES OF DRAGONQUEST!!!....anyway

I have drawn Abel many times when I was younger but never put a pic of him on DA or FA. Now that I am a better artist, I decieded to give him a shot using my Wacom and Video Recording me drawing him.

I do hope all of you like it, Abel Yuusha is the character that got me into Anime.

the first series is old but i looked like it was pretty good to bad they never dubbed it all in english

Yeah, if only this whole series was dubbed. It was kinda cool seeing Akira Toriyama's work in a Dragon Quest animated series.

You actually captured the character well, and the pose and style are both well done. I also love the shading, too.

I remember my friend brought it to my attention with a six am Sunday morning time-slot. I really liked Dragon Warrior, had many funny moments . Especially when I heard the music. Too bad I only saw the first thirteen episodes.
