Greatdragon Com MLP RARITY by ShoNuff44 Greatdragon Com MLP RARITY by ShoNuff44
The last one I was commissioned to do was the fashion designer of the town, Rarity. I had to make her look the most mature of them all. I was going for a cheesecake look of her trying on different bras while using her magic to try them all. This is like the polar opposite of the Fluttershy pony. I assumed she is more aggressive and least shy of them all. I feel she is the most Vein being that she is the stylish of them all? Knows the latest fashions?

this one took a while to go cause I was going for the mirror effect like I did with the Mrs Bull pic I did a while ago.

To answer your questions on Squeek and Shred?.....Squeek would hang out with Fluttershy while Shred would totally hang with Rarity and Applecack.

Rarity Episode:

Look Before You Sleep: Same as with Applejack.

Suited for Success:  *The* defining Rarity episode, highlighting her generosity and artistic talents...  and the pitfalls that can come with it.  Also, good song that subtly pokes fun at TV show executives and other people who meddle with the creative process.

A Dog and Pony Show:  Some exploration with Rarity and Spike's relationship, as well as how Rarity copes with aversity in her own unique way.

Green Isn't Your Color:  Establishes Rarity and Fluttershy's relationship.  Also introduces the concept of a Pinkie Promise.

Sisterhooves Social:  it explores Rarity's relationship with her younger sister, Sweetiebelle, contrasting it with Applejack and Applebloom's.

Sweet and Elite:  Rarity has to deal with the conflict between her home and friends and the upper-crust elite she wishes to be a part of.

Rarity Takes Manhattan:  How does Rarity cope with someone abusing her generosity, especially when it imperiles her dreams?   Also, Manehattanites don't care who you are.

Simple Ways:  How do you cope when the person you like seems to only be interested in things you're not?  Also, Applejack cleans up *real* nice.

Vain?  Hmmm, to a degree, but never to the point of rubbing other people's faces in it.  She's really more concerned about appearances, because she wants to be a success-  Her business and art are crucial to her, and she knows she won't get anywhere without the upper crust buying that she's one of them.

Rarity is indeed the fashionista of the group, but rather than following trends, she CREATES them as a dress-maker, artist of cloth, and owner of her own store, aptly named "Carousel Boutique" where she decorates her dresses with FREAKIN' GEMSTONES (which are much easier to come by in Equestia than in the real world, a fortunate fact considering that dragons eat gemstones).  While she is indeed confident and proud of her looks, loves the spotlight, and has used her appearances to manipulate a stallion or two during the show, she's actually far more genuinely nice than your standard "popular girl" character.  She regularly visits the spa with Fluttershy, frequently makes gifts for her friends, and is willing to help out whenever someone needs it (just so long as it doesn't involve getting her mane dirty).  Her life-long dream is to make a dress for Princess Celestia herself (the solar god-queen of Equestria in all but name who resides in the mountain-side capital city of Canterlot) and rub elbows with the high-society ponies as an equal despite her origins in the small country-town of Ponyville.  Also, she both kicks a manticore in the face (then calls it a ruffian) and chops off her own tail to replace the missing mustache of a sorrowful sea-serpent (sounds weird out of context, I know) in the second part of the series premiere.

Some of her strongest episodes are "Suited for Success" (which has the awesome song "Art of the Dress"), "A Dog and Pony Show" (where she manages to outwit a group of troll-like dog-people with the epic power of her high-pitched whining), "Sweet and Elite" (features her hob-nobbing it up with the upper-class and gets another popular song) and "Rarity Takes Manehatten" (where she wins fashion in pony NYC and learns a valuable lesson).  Here's a link for you to watch every episode of the series for free online: www.animeflavor.com/index.php?…

Also, to state the obvious, she's looking SUPER DELUXE HOT in this pic.  Nice work, dude.
